Mountainview Building Group helps make a difference at the Ronald McDonald House South Central Ontario
Through various initiatives Mountainview Building Group is proud to partner with this incredible cause.
Ronald McDonald House South Central Ontario is part of a network of 15 Ronald McDonald Houses across Canada, providing a home away from home for families of children who are seriously ill and being treated at nearby hospitals.
When CEO of Ronald McDonald House South Central Ontario, Mario De Divitis, reached out to Mountainview Building Group to see they could be of any help during the Covid-19 crisis, the Mountainview team jumped onboard, and began planning ways to give back, starting with sending the Mountainview Construction team to the Hamilton Ronald McDonald House.
Emily Vukovic of CHCH Morning Live recently toured the Ronald McDonald House Charities South Central Ontario – viewed the recent renovations and shared details on some of the amazing services offered to families. The house, located on Main St. in Hamilton is the only one of the 13 locations in the province to have chefs that provide breakfast and dinner options to the families staying there. During COVID when families had to eat in their rooms, they took the opportunity to renovate the dining room to provide a beautiful space for families to now gather.
The RMHC also provide opportunities for people or corporations to Adopt a Meal, which allows people staying there to enjoy a home-cooked meal sponsored by you. Or there is a Mission Experience, where companies can go in and cook the meals, while also getting a tour of the house.
After the tour of the house, Emily also got to meet a family staying at RMHC, and hear about how much the space means to them.
